I think that it's great that Final Destination is going to be in 3D. The effects were great in 2D, I can't wait to see what they do for 3D!

You can read the gist here:

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare, Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave... escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one — in increasingly gruesome ways — Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination. The film marks the latest in the highly popular “Final Destination” series, and its first 3D installment, giving horror fans an especially visceral thrill ride.

Cool! I like the tagline: Death Saved the Best... for 3D

I had high hopes for this one. I loved the first Final Destination, and loved the second one just as well. I was hoping that this would top the other two. But I was really, really wrong. And the thing is, I think it was the 3D effects that really screwed this film up!

I think this film had kept up with the gore factor. I just hate it that unlike the first two films that really had real people and really great make up, in here they decided to use computer graphics every step of the way. And the CGI sucked in this film, big time!

Actually, I found this enjoyable. It had the elements of the first movies, although it was not really that strong. Case in point is that the first two films were interconnected. The death in the first movie somehow dictated who was going to die next and why they were dying in the first place. Here... well... it's like ripping off a story and trying hard not to get caught.

ugh i hate this movie! It was shallow and a total waste of 3d. I think the producers were just trying to ride on the 3D craze.
