Smith Micro has launched the latest installment of its Poser software. Poser 8 is another one of the company's 3D design and animation software that allows artists and enthusiasts to create human forms, animals and even entire scenes in 3D.

Our company has this software and the best thing is that it renders designs in 3D almost flawlessly. From the smallest creatures to huge skyscrapers. The details are just amazing!

I think that Poser has ready-to-pose human templates that you could use to create 3D humans. It can be caucasian or black, and the limit is your creativity. You can add hair, clothes, even bags and other things.

Poser also takes care of the lighting too. You even have different camera views to help you create a more realistic design.

So what's new with Poser 8?

Well aside from the new human templates, you also have a new interface that maximizes screen space and helps you work faster by being more intuitive.

This looks like a very good program. How much is it?

It is around £150, but if you have previous versions, you can avail of the upgrade for around £80.
