Default Firefox now have WEBGL

The good news is that the new Firefox browser from Mozilla now has WebGL. WebGL as you know is a 3D rendering platform for the Web.

I think that it's great that Mozilla included WebGL in firefox. That way it uses a Web standard.

I agree that it is.. WebGL is new, but if you look at other browsers, they have adopted WebGL as well. So even if it's still sketchy at this point, it's bound to get better. What's more, it is FREE!

Sounds like Google is the only one that did not adopt WebGL. Too bad too, because Google has a great 3D engine.

It is not surprising really. WebGL was developed by Mozilla with Khronos Group. Khronos Group is the one who created OpenGL which was the first standard in browser-based 3D.

I agree. For one, Apple has adopted the WebGL standard, and has incorporated it in its own Webkit builds.

Apple even invented CSS enhancements to WebGL so that you could interact with the 3D images you have.

It's great that Mozilla now has WebGL embedded in the firefox program. It used to be that you need to install it as a plugin, but not anymore.
