Default Do you think 3D is commercially viable or not?

One of the most hotly debated topic when it comes to 3D is its commercial viability. Do you think that 3D would be successful?

I voted for yes. I think what is hindering 3D now is the lack of standards. When the standards come out, device manufacturers could finally go all out and produce 3D devices, and the 3D content would soon follow.

I think that 3D is just a fad. Nothing much to get excited about. So I voted no.

I say yes. I think that the debate over plasma and LCD has died down. It's now a matter of 3D or not 3D that's on the mind of new TV buyers.

Let's see. I am actually torn between yes and no. For one, I think 3D still has the problems it did 50 years ago. But I also think that the technology now is greater than before... so they should be able to correct the dizziness and the eyestrain.

I am hoping it will be commercially viable. 3D is great, it's an added experience!

No. I think 3D will go the same way as virtual reality!

Yes. Especially after reading about that article about 3D being a way to lessen commercials on TV programs.

No. it's just a nice addition, but it won't replace the 2D programs and movies we have now.
